Who said running events was easy?
It's not! It's really hard work. And for most clients that's the last
thing they need - it's hard enough just doing the day job!
That's why, when we manage events for our clients, we take full responsibility
for everything that's involved. We sit central to the whole process, co-ordinating
everything and everyone, taking care of all the details - big and small.
This means our clients can get on with their work, secure in the knowledge
that their event is being put together on brief, on budget and on time.
The only people they need to speak to is us - they don't have a dozen
different agencies calling to ask where the wine should be delivered or what time
the band should arrive, we sort all this out.
Getting everything right is our own responsibility. If anything goes
wrong it's our fault - even if it's someone else's fault.
But it doesn't go wrong - we make sure of that!
As an illustration, we thought you might find it interesting to click
on the video link above. This is a short film of an event we managed for
our client, Siemens mobile, which took place recently. The event was the
Siemens mobile Lake Jump, held at Fort William the day before the UK leg
of the Mountain Biking World Cup, to support Siemens mobile's involvement
with the Cannondale mountain biking team.
The Lake Jump itself involved world class competitors hurtling down a
ramp moored in the middle of Loch Linnhe, performing acrobatics in mid-air
and landing (if that's the right word) in the loch. The competitors told
us they loved it - we were more than happy just to watch!
|
The event drew a crowd of over 5,000 to the banks of the loch, and
generated high levels of national and international TV and press coverage.
Images are also being used in a Siemens mobile viral email campaign.
Setting up the ramp was the easy bit. Even for an event of this nature
there are so many things to get right and so many people to involve, it
would have been easy for something to go wrong somewhere. But it didn't.
We took responsibility for everything - from positioning the TV cameras
to sorting out the catering - even finding and hiring the bagpiper who
had played at Madonna's wedding!
It all went off without a hitch and like a duck paddling in water no
one saw how hard we had to work to get there.
And was the client happy? Well, you can see for yourself....
